Environmental & Public Health International® (EPHI) announced that its Lead Service Line Replacement Cost Calculator® (LSLRCC), a free multilingual drinking water infrastructure planning tool recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), was featured in the World Health Organization’s International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (ILPPW) 2025 campaign registry.
The inclusion connects the LSLRCC to a global public health campaign focused on eliminating lead exposure risks and advancing practical prevention strategies that protect children, families, and communities.

The WHO campaign promotes international efforts to reduce lead exposure through awareness, policy development, implementation initiatives, and public health education focused on eliminating lead hazards.

UNEP-Recognized Drinking Water Infrastructure Planning Tool
The LSLRCC is a free, multilingual, EPA-aligned planning tool developed to support governments, Tribal Nations, utilities, and public health stakeholders in estimating and planning lead service line replacement projects.
The LSLRCC is recognized by the UNEP Sustainable Infrastructure Tools Navigator for advancing equitable, data-driven drinking water infrastructure planning aligned with implementation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI).
Expanding Public Health and Infrastructure Planning Resources
The global relaunch expands mission-aligned public health and infrastructure planning resources associated with the LSLRCC, including integration of a UNESCO-IHP WINS DOI to support citation and inclusion in drinking water infrastructure grant proposals.
Strengthening International Public Health and Infrastructure Networks
The relaunch further strengthens linkages between the LSLRCC and international public health, infrastructure planning, academic, Tribal, and community networks associated with the United Nations system, community organizations, scientific and professional associations, and academic institutions.
